Neha celly, Cofounder and Designer at “Milk Teeth”, is a graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology and is the owner of her design firm, Bluehemia. While the design company builds brands for several retailers and mills, Milk Teeth happens to be their first in-house label.
A void in the Indian market for a truly global kids-wear brand led to the inception of Milk Teeth. As a parent, Celly always found that Indian kids-wear brands lacked a certain taste. The desire to see a kids-wear brand that was completely made in India, but with an international design sensibility, is what led her to start Milk Teeth with co-founder Jitu Mehta, who handles sourcing and product development for the brand.
Milk teeth takes pride in creating the complete product, right from design to end production, in India. Starting from the hand knitted accessories that are made in Kumaun Grameen Udyog, an NGO based in Uttarakhand to the cardigans in Ludhiana, Punjab and tee shirts at Tirupur. The mission is to create a global brand all from India, benefitting the small and big craftsmen based here.
